Parker Chase and Harry Gottsacker Together Again at Lime Rock Park
Performance Motorsports Group teammates Parker Chase and Harry Gottsacker will compete side-by-side once again this weekend at Lime Rock Park in the Pirelli World Challenge Memorial Day Grand Prix.
Parker Chase burst onto the Pirelli World Challenge scene with impressive performances in his No. 19 Enertech Resources / Alta Towers Ginetta G55 GT4, earning a podium finish at every race weekend. Chase enters the race weekend riding the forward momentum of a second-place finish at last weekend’s race at Canadian Tire Motorsports Park and is not shy about his desire to earn his first professional victory.
“Right now we have a great package that is capable of winning,” said Chase. “I am thrilled to come in second, but that is not what we are here for. I want to earn my first win and I want to earn Performance Motorsports Group’s first professional win very badly. The Performance Motorsports Group guys have given me a great car all year and I know I can trust my Ginetta to stay consistent in the race. It’s right at the tips of our fingers, now we just have to grab it.”
Harry Gottsacker made his Pirelli World Challenge debut at Barber Motorsports Park where he earned two top-ten finishes and the OPTIMA Batteries Hard Charger Award. Gottsacker is also competing in a full season of Red Bull Global Rallycross Lites and made his debut last weekend in Phoenix, AZ.
“I am really happy to be back in the Pirelli World Challenge paddock,” said Gottsacker. “I think I know the car better now and I will be able to really push it towards the front. It will be a bit of a change from the rally car I drove last weekend and I am looking forward to the challenge.”
The Lime Rock Park race weekend marks the second of three in a row for the Performance Motorsports Group teammates who will travel to Dallas, TX on June 4 for the second round of Red Bull Global Rallycross competition.
