Harry Gottsacker Optimistic Entering Season Finale
Harry Gottsacker is ready for the Pirelli World Challenge GTS season finale at Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca this weekend, October 7-9.
Transitioning from karts to sportscars, Gottsacker made his Pirelli World Challenge debut at Barber Motorsports Park in April of this year. In just six race weekends and eleven races, Gottsacker has achieved a podium finish and multiple special awards. While not in contention for the overall championship, he hopes to cap off his rookie season with a podium finish.
Not only will Gottsacker race in GTS Rounds 18 and 19 but he will also share the No. 29 Performance Motorsports Group Ginetta G55 GT4 with teammate Parker Chase for SprintX Round 6 for the final race of the season on Sunday, October 9.
“This year has really flown by, it’s hard to believe that we’re already at the season finale,” said Gottsacker. “It’s been great to get to drive the Ginetta this season, I’ve had some success and learned a lot, there’s not much more I could ask for. I would of course love to get on the GTS podium in this final weekend so that is what I will try to achieve. I think it will be an exciting weekend and I look forward to it.”
The Pirelli World Challenge finale will take place on Sunday, October 9 and can be viewed on CBS Sports Network on Sunday, October 23 at 4:00 PM ET. A full schedule of events can be found at www.world-challenge.com.
