Harry Gottsacker and Jon Miller sign with ST Racing for GT4 America SprintX West Championship Run
Coming off of their weekend sweep by winning both races at the season opener at Circuit of the Americas, Harry Gottsacker and Jon Miller will contest the full GT4 America Sprint X West Championship. The duo will continue to co-drive the #28 ST Racing BMW M4 GT4 with the familiar blue and yellow digital camo livery. They head into the next round at WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca leading the Pro-Am championship standings.
COTA marked Gottsacker’s debut in BMW machinery. The 19 year-old was invited to Germany in early 2019 to participate in the BMW Motorsport Junior shootout.
“I’m really pleased that we have been able to confirm the rest of the GT4 America West season with ST Racing. After the double victory in Austin, Jon and I have been working hard with the team to continue working together. We saw at COTA what a potent machine the BMW M4 GT4 is and I’m looking forward to getting back behind the wheel at Laguna Seca. I collected my first top 5 finish in GT4 at Laguna Seca and I can’t wait for more chances at conquering the famous corkscrew.”
For Miller, the announcement is a welcome continuation with ST Racing.
“I’ve raced almost every generation of BMW and I’m very excited to get to fight for a championship with Harry and ST Racing in the latest version M4 GT4. We showed what we’re capable of at COTA, but there’s a bigger picture to focus on now that we’ve got a full season championship to think about. Last year we learned and put together some great results. I’ve already seen more growth and the same hunger to win this year. They’ve put together a great group of people with a balanced, professional, big picture approach. I’m happy to be able to contribute.”
Miller and Gottsacker’s championship run will be supported by VP Racing Fuels, Gruene Harley-Davidson, HRX USA, the One Track Mind Podcast, GPI, and ST Racing. Find out more about the drivers at www.harrygottsackerracing.com and www.jonleemiller.com.
