BHA to Run Four Hyundai Elantra N TCR Cars in 2026 IMSA Michelin Pilot Challenge
Bryan Herta Autosport will pilot four Hyundai Elantra N TCR cars in the 2026 IMSA Michelin Pilot Challenge. The lineup is as follows:
#18 – Lance Bergstein and Harry Gottsacker
#33 – Mason Filippi and Bryson Morris
#76 – Preston Brown and Denis Dupont
#98 – Mark Wilkins and Maddie Aust
All eight drivers drove for BHA in 2025, but the only duo that remains on the same car is Dupont and Brown in the #76. Collectively, this group achieved five race wins, seven podiums, and six pole positions last season.
BHA is coming off the heels of Team and Driver Championship wins in 2025, their sixth championship title. The #98 car brought home the Team Championship, and Harry Gottsacker won his second Driver’s Championship. Hyundai also won the Manufacturer’s title for the sixth year in a row.
Team owner Bryan Herta says “We are excited to represent Hyundai for our eighth consecutive year, and to announce a tremendous driving lineup for the season. We feel confident we have the right combination across our four entries to strongly defend Hyundai’s Manufacturer Championship as well as the Team and Driver Championships. 2026 is shaping up to be an amazing season for the IMSA Michelin Pilot Challenge, with strong competition from some familiar teams and manufacturers, as well as some new ones as well. We are pleased to have the consistency of all eight drivers being returnees from last year. Looking forward to getting started at Daytona.”
Hyundai Hope On Wheels (HHOW) will continue their Laps Led program for the 2026 season. For every lap led by a Hyundai in the IMSA Michelin Pilot Challenge, $100 will be donated to a local children’s hospital. During the 2025 season, the program generated $41,500 in donations to hospitals across the country. In addition to the per-lap contribution, HHOW will donate an additional $5,000 if the #33 Hyundai Elantra N TCR finishes on the podium, and $10,000 if the #33 secures a race victory.
BHA’s first race of the 2026 season will be January 23rd at Daytona International Speedway.
Harry Gottsacker: “I’m looking forward to being back with BHA and Hyundai in 2026 and working with Lance for the season. I think we are going to have a strong pairing and keep building on the success we had in 2025 with the Hyundai Elantra N TCR. Lance and I have similar goals for the season and we’re going to come out in Daytona pushing to grab wins and podiums!”
Lance Bergstein: “I’m incredibly excited to be back for the 2026 IMSA Michelin Pilot Challenge season driving the Hyundai Elantra N TCR for Bryan Herta Autosport. BHA has a proven championship-winning program, and running again with them is a huge opportunity. Sharing the car with last season’s champion, Harry Gottsacker, is especially motivating—his experience and pace will push us to be competitive right from the start. I can’t wait to get to Daytona and start fighting for wins.
