After a month long break, Harry Gottsacker will return to Pirelli World Challenge competition this weekend at Mid-Ohio Sportscar Course for GTS Rounds 13 and 14 driving the No. 29 Performance Motorsports Group Ginetta G55 GT4.

Being a rookie driver often means racing at racetracks a driver has never been to before, and Mid-Ohio Sportscar Course is no exception for the young Texan. Gottsacker has yet to turn a wheel at the legendary 13-turn, 2.258 mile permanent road course located in Lexington, Ohio but is hopeful he will get up to speed quickly.

“The Ginetta G55 GT4 makes my job a lot easier,” said Gottsacker. “When I am at these new tracks, it’s not an easy task to learn them in one or two sessions. We have video and data that helps but nothing can replace the experience of actually driving a track. Thankfully, the Ginetta is so adaptable and so consistent in diverse conditions I can lean on it when I’m learning these new courses. Mid-Ohio looks like a really great track and I can’t wait to get out there and hopefully bring home a great result to the team.”

The first session of the weekend begins on Thursday, July 28 with testing and official practice followed by qualifying and races on Friday, July 29 and Saturday, July 30. A full schedule of events can be found at www.world-challenge.com.
