Harry Gottsacker Ready for Road America
Harry Gottsacker is back behind the wheel of the No. 29 Performance Motorsports Group GInetta G55 GT4 this weekend in Elkhart Lake, WI for Pirelli World Challenge GTS Rounds 11 and 12 at Road America.
This weekend marks Gottsacker’s third Pirelli World Challenge outing with Performance Motorsports Group. He has shown great speed and consistency, placing in the top-ten three out of four races he has entered this season.
Gottsacker has had no time to rest, despite the month-long break from Pirelli World Challenge racing. A full-time Red Bull Global Rallycross Lites program with PMG Rallysport keeps Gottsacker incredibly busy and forces him to stay at the top of his game both mentally and physically.
“I think I am very fortunate to race in two series that are so different from each other,” said Gottsacker. “I love driving the rally car one weekend and the Ginetta the next. Not only is it a ton of fun, but the racing education I am getting is indispensable to my career. Having the Performance Motorsports Group guys behind me in both series is so crucial because they know what I like and don’t like, they know how I want the car to act and feel, we work well together. I look forward to changing gears with them and getting on track at Road America.”
Road America is a 14-turn, 4.048 mile course in Elkhart Lake, WI that demands a driver’s attention both mentally and physically.
